The Portland is a place for beer lovers.  It has everything from crisp easy drinking lagers to big hoppy craft ales.  The easy going traditional pub environment and friendly knowledgeable staff make for the perfect beer drinking experience whether you are just in for a quiet pint or wish to learn more about the inner workings of an operational microbrewery.

We offer the entire James Squire range, as well as brewing our own hand crafted ales from our onsite microbrewery.

If you are visiting for the first time, we highly recommend you start with our famous 6 beer tasting paddle, accompanied by tasting notes.
